The Velammal Residential School follows the CBSE Board syllabus meticulously, from Class III to XII (Hostel) and KG to XII (Day School). Alongside the Board syllabus, subjects such as value education, computer science, health education, EVS and general knowledge are also included, chosen by our subject experts for holistic learning.
Primary (III–V): English, Tamil, Hindi, Maths, General Science, Social Studies, Functional Grammar, Computer Science, GK, dance, craft, music, value education, soft & life skills.

VRS believes in 'catching them young'. This unique programme starts with the self and helps students realize their potential, equipping them with a well-planned blend of soft skills. Topics covered include time management, cooperation and teamwork, values and ethics, and study skills.
The school has its own Controller of Examinations who ensures examinations and tests are conducted on schedule, with question papers organized carefully so that every student receives an error-free paper.
